The Cho family – James, Ann, and Patrick, established the foundation in 2002. The family currently resides in Atlanta. Choson Foundation’s chairperson, Mr. James Cho, currently owns and operates AM-KO Building Maintenance, Inc. – a business he started in 1985.

The Choson Foundation provides schools and continuous educational support to children around the world who wants to be educated, but they don’t even have a chance because they are poor.

About Campus Integrity Movement Mentioning Yust, you will think of CIM. Before I came to Yust, I never thought about integrity. I just hold the opinion that a person should be honest and kind. It is Yust that let me get to know how important it is. Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching. Recent survey data gathered from 50,000 undergraduates on over 60 college campuses indicate that nearly 70% of students participate in some form of cheating during the course of completing their education. Only if you are integrity will you do everything by yourself and try your best. Then, you will get a lot. Integrity means having high standards with themselves. For instance, many years ago, one writer lost almost his property in an unlucky investment. He intends to use every penny he earned to repay. Three years later, He was still unremitting efforts for this goal.

아래의 문장을 쓰기 전에 먼저 이렇게 또 한번 글을 올릴수 있게 된것에 대해 항상 감사하는 마음을 간직하고 있습니다.또 한학기가 거의 지나가고 있는 지금 제가 2학년 첫학기 부터 받았던 초슨장학금이 어언간 제가 3학년 후학기인 지금도 받고 있네요.참 어리석었던 옛날과 비기면 그래도 뭔가는 달라지고 성장한거 같습니다.<정직>에 관한 저의 생각으로만 봐도 그렇다고 볼수 있는거 같습니다.
누구나 어릴때에는 다 사람은 정직해야 한다고 교과서나 선생님한테서 배운거 같습니다.그러나 요즘처럼 삭박한 세상을 살아가다 보면 어쩌면 우리의 사상도 마치 점점 오염되어 가는 환경처럼 본유의 깨끗함을 잃어가고 있는지도 모릅니다.왜냐면 저도 모르게 언젠가부터 <정직한 사람만이 성공할수 있다>는 말을 그냥 흘려듣기 시작했기 때문입니다.저런 말은 그냥 이미 성공을 하고 배부른 사람이나 하는 말인줄 알았기 때문입니다.그러나 저의 대학생활은 저의 이러한 생각이 틀렸다는걸 가르쳐 주었습니다.

Time flies. I’m going to graduate pretty soon. It seems that I just came to YUST(Yanbian University of Science and Technology) yesterday. When I came here, I was a girl who didn’t know anything. I was too shy to talk with professors. I was afraid of being the last. And my family are farmers, they work hard to provide my tuition. Actually I am sorry to let them to pay the tuition for me because it’s a big money for me. Because of this reason, I work hard to get the scholarship. As a result of my hard working, I got the scholarship when I was in the second semester of the freshmen year. But I had a lot of stress because I had to keep my record. Honestly speaking, it was really hard. At that time, I got the scholarship from you. It is a big help for me and my family. And because of that scholarship, I did very in my college life.

저는 05급 정보통신학과의 김하라고 합니다.비록 조선족이지만 어릴 때부터 한족학교에 다니다보니 한국어를 잘 못했습니다. 다행히도 유스트에 와서 한국어를 배울 수 있어서 많은 것을 알게되었습니다. 저는 과기대가 참 좋은 학교라고 생각합니다. 교수님들과 선배님들의 좋은 영향하에 많은 것을 배웠습니다. 그리고 유스트에서 너무나 많은 사랑을 받았습니다. 그래서 지금까지 학교에 있었던 3년 동안에 행복하게 살았습니다. 필업하고 나가서 저도 남에게 도움을 줄 수 있는 사람이 되고 싶습니다. 저는 제가 받았던 관심과 사랑을 남에게 전하고 싶습니다. 그리고 저는 유스트에게 자랑스러운 사람이 되고 싶습니다.
